Dogs join the Twitter revolution thanks to Puppy Tweets

If your dog is still unable to type, and has shown no interest in the internet, there is a new device that can help your pet to become more social online.

Mattel’s Puppy Tweets is a new gadget that allows your dog to send a tweet every time they move, bark or nap. The device consists of a collar tag with integrated motion and sound sensors that's linked to your home computer via Wi-Fi.

Puppy tweets is pre-loaded with 500 twitter phrases which are transmitted to your dog’s twitter page every time they move. The sensor in the collar is activated by the dog's activity, so if your dog is running around, the tweet might say, "It's not the catching of the tail, it's the chase." Or if doggie is in a more restful mode the tweet might read, "Guess what I'm licking right now."

There are also some lovey dovey tweets like, "I bark because I miss you. There I said it. Now hurry home,” to assure you that your dog misses you just as much as you miss him during the day.

Puppy Tweets is available on Amazon.com in Puppy Tweets Blue and Puppy Tweets Pink.

What message would you like to see on your dog's Twitter page?
