Sea Shepherd launches YouTube contest to find next whale warrior

Do you have what it takes to be a Whale Warrior?

Sea Shepherd is hiring for a three-month adventure off the coast of Antarctica protecting endangered whales. Upload a video of yourself to Sea Shepard's YouTube page documenting why you should be selected to crew Operation No Compromise.

The contest closes on October 31st and the winner will be announced on November 6th. Winners will be selected from Sea Shepherd staff and crewman, and finally by Captain Paul Watson, himself.

“I’ll be looking for something that’s humorous, something that’s intelligent, something that’s insightful, and something very creative,” said Watson.

  1. Odd that you have to submit a video to win a contest to sail the seas with a bunch of thugs.

  2. You know what is even more odd? That you decided to take the time to comment on this story. Don't you Sea Shepherd haters have anything better to do.

  3. Seems to me the real thugs are the people who travel thousands of miles to murder whales.

  4. What's really shocking is that these thugs have to exist because no worldwide governments do squat to actually help these whales.
