John Paul DeJoria of Paul Mitchell to showcase pet care line on QVC

John Paul DeJoria, CEO and co-founder of Paul Mitchell, has announced that his pet care line John Paul Pet will be featured on QVC on September 23 at 5 p.m. ET.

DeJoria, known for revolutionalizing the salon industry by banning animal testing for Paul Mitchell products, believes that "pets deserve the royal treatment" therefore he created specially formulated shampoos, conditioners, and wipes that address our furry friend’s most common grooming and hygiene needs.

"All of us at John Paul Pet are thrilled and very proud to bring John Paul Pet products to QVC," DeJoria said. "QVC is dedicated to providing its customers with the most innovative and contemporary products. Its programming is distributed to more than 166 million homes worldwide and is the ideal medium for John Paul Pet to reach consumers familiar with the Paul Mitchell name brand and those looking for innovations in pet care."

John Paul Pet actively supports local outreach programs and events through the Humane Society of America shelters, ASPCA, and PAWS and DeJoria himself is an avid supporter of a number of animal welfare organizations including Last Chance for Animals, World Wildlife Federation, and the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society.

During the QVC broadcast, which will have John Paul Pet co-founder John Capra as the presenter, the following products will be showcased:
  • The John Paul Pet Total and Complete Hygiene System Three-Pack - Features all three of John Paul Pet's innovative pet wipes: full body and paw wipes, ear and eye wipes and tooth and gum.

I've always loved the Paul Mitchell products. Now that I know of his charitable work I love them even more!

  2. Cool! I need some good shampoo for my puppies. We just rescued them about 3 weeks ago and they still have that shelter smell. I would love to find something that will clean them and make them smell fresh.

  3. I work for Paul Mitchell the School - Charlotte and my husband, dog and I use only Paul Mitchell products. It's great to work for a company you can really get behind, we were the very first cosmetology company to ban animal testing and John Paul Mitchell Systems and John Paul DeJoria give back in so many other ways. We used to wash Stella with the Tea Tree Lavender Mint Shampoo and Conditioner because it's soothing and she gets hot spots. Also the Tea Tree line is a carbon neutral brand and through our partnership with American Forests we've made it so that every time you buy Tea Tree products you help plant a tree! When the JP Pet line came out we were so excited! Stella loves the tooth and gum wipes (they taste like mint - I tried one) and she feels amazing after we wash her with the Oatmeal Conditioning Shampoo and Rinse. Though all the products are great, those are our favorites. A plus is that the Oatmeal Conditioning Shampoo and Rinse are super gentle and color-safe, so if you have color treated hair and you run out of your regular people-shampoo, no worries, just grab your JP Pet shampoo instead!
