Farm Sanctuary is preparing to release its 2011 Rescue & Refuge calendar—the organization’s 25th Anniversary Commemorative Edition—and they need your help to determine a cover image. Supporters must choose between Violet the pig, Sasha the cow, or Cliff the sheep all who are quite deserving of the honor.

Voting ends this Friday, August 6 and the winner will be announced later this month. After you cast your vote, you can make a donation of $50 or more to reserve your own copy of the calendar. The calendar is a great way to meet many of the animals who are cared for at Farm Sanctuary each and every day.

"These special individuals are ambassadors for all farm animals," writes Gene Baur, President and Co-founder of Farm Sanctuary.  "Their powerful stories reveal the injustice and cruelty that farm animals face, and why our efforts are so critical. The animals also show us how beautiful and amazing they are — each a unique individual. The sanctuary animals are an inspiration.
