Cleveland Browns fans you may want to look away, now. EverGreen Recreational Vehicles is teaming up with Pittsburgh Steelers legend and four-time Super Bowl winning quarterback Terry Bradshaw.
Bradshaw, who is also a three-time Emmy Award winning broadcaster on Fox NFL Sunday, was introduced as the official spokesperson for the environmentally friendly RV manufacturer at a media event on July 15. The festivities held at EverGreen’s plant in Middlebury, Indiana included “Mr. Steel Arm” taking possession of a brand new all composite eco-friendly Ever-Lite fifth wheel.
"We are confident that Terry Bradshaw, who strives for excellence, is a perfect fit for the Ever-Lite™ brand as we set out to build an environmentally friendly RV that is second to none," explained EverGreen’s Chairman, Kelly Rose. "Just making it 'green' is not enough, it's also style, comfort, quality and durability that define EverGreen as exceptional."
"I'm very proud to be associated with a company that has achieved all they have in just 18 months. Touring the plant I saw firsthand how much time and effort they put into every trailer," Bradshaw said. "It is clear to me that EverGreen has a winning team and a winning product.”
According to EverGreen, their selection of travel trailers and fifth wheels feature recyclable composite materials that replace traditional and non-sustainable wood products. The lightweight construction—20 percent lighter than competing brands—allows for easier towing equating to improved fuel efficiency.
In all honesty when we think of green activities RVing usually doesn't come to mind—okay it doesn’t come to mind at all. That being said credit must still be given to companies who at least attempt to become more environmentally friendly, even when they choose a former Pittsburgh Steeler to be their spokesman.
