New Orleans Hornets owner George Shin remains vegetarian even at Dickie Brennan’s Steakhouse

According to WGNO, New Orleans Hornets owner, George Shinn, dined at the world famous Dickie Brennan’s Steakhouse in the French Quarter on Tuesday with a few dozen season ticketholders—word is he didn’t touch any of the restaurant’s meat filled fare.

Shinn became a vegetarian after being diagnosed with a cancerous prostate gland last year and hasn’t looked back since.

He dropped 32 pounds prior to his successful surgery and has been cancer free since.

And what did the 68-year-old Hornet’s owner indulge in while others sliced into Dickie’s world famous steak? A plate full of vegetables including a stuffed pepper and a salad with apple slices.
