Farm Sanctuary announces 2010 New York Shelter tour times

Farm Sanctuary, the nation’s leading farm animal protection organization, announced this year’s May through October tour times for its New York Shelter.

The shelter is open for guided tours from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays in the months of May, September, and October. In June, July, and August visitors can take part in the guided tours Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. All tours start on the hour.

Visitors can access the tours for the low price of $3 for adults, $1 for children under 12, and no charge for children 3 and under – a heck of a deal for those looking for a fun and educational experience with the family.

Home to hundreds of animals, the New York Shelter of Farm Sanctuary is set on 175 acres next to Sugar Hills State Forest, just west of Watkins Glen. For more information, visit farmsanctuary.org.
