According to the L.A. Times, a new series titled “Dolphin Warriors” based on the Oscar Award winning documentary “The Cove” is slated to air this fall on Animal Planet.

Like “The Cove” it will star animal activist Ric O’Barry and will pick up the story where the documentary left off.

The airing of the new series will coincide with Animal Planet’s planned debut of “The Cove” this summer.
