Sports Illustrated's 2010 swimsuit edition hit the stands this week, featuring four women of the Winter Olympics: skiers Lindsey Vonn and Lacy Schnoor along with snowboarders Clair Bidez and Hannah Teter.

Turns out, one of the four bathing suit beauties is a vegetarian. Recently the Mother Nature Network (MNN) showcased 12 Olympic athletes who want to save the planet and Hannah Teter made the list.

“Teter, who eats an organic vegetarian diet, won the halfpipe gold in Torino and hopes to repeat,” reports MNN. Additionally the environmental news site explains that Teter's charity, Hannah's Gold, raises funds to help provide clean drinking water and land for homeless AIDS victims in Kenya.

The Olympic gold medalist has also worked on PETA’s “Save The Seal” campaign saying, “When I saw that PETA was involved in saving the seals, I just was like, 'YEAH!' That's something I want to be a part of because it's such a huge massacre.”

Hannah Teter arrives at this year’s winter games in Vancouver as the defending Olympic halfpipe gold medalist.
