Cook your sweetheart a gourmet vegan meal for Valentine’s Day

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, what better way to say “I love you” than by making your sweetheart a delicious gourmet vegan meal.

Executive Chef J. Scot Jones of Chrissie Hynde’s VegiTerranean restaurant, teamed up with gardein, the maker of healthy and great-tasting plant-based foods, to present the perfect three-course meal that is free of  animal and dairy products.

The “Love at First Bite” menu features the following items:

-Artichoke and tomato bisque
-Pine nut and basil crusted gardein™ scallopini over braised escarole blood orange beurre blanc
-Hot italian banana peppers stuffed with fresh herb risotto and soy mozzarella with fresh basil lime sauce
