Palin, a pertinacious meat eater who pondered the idea, “If God had not intended for us to eat animals, how come He made them out of meat” in Going Rogue
“I intend to send them to her very religiously. I intend to persuade her that this is a much better way,” Hunt said in an interview with Ontario’s The Record. “I tend to write them as if I’m sitting at the dinner table with her.”
Hunt, who was a meat-eater most of his life, understands Palin’s love for animal products but wants to educate her about the suffering that is created by her choices. The vegan professor plans to be respectful when writing to Palin and hopes to publish the letters in a book with the proceeds being donated to animal sanctuaries in the U.S. and Canada.
