Vegetarian Ricky Williams will host a fake-chicken-wings taste test at his Miami Beach restaurant, PROOF, on Feb. 3 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Williams is teaming up with PETA to encourage football fans to go faux during their Super Bowl parties.

"Thanks in part to his healthy vegetarian diet, Williams has stayed lean and mean and is still one of the most feared backs in the NFL," says PETA's campaigns director, Dan Shannon. "Birds need their wings--we don't."

The running back is part owner of PROOF restaurant which is located in the Z Ocean Hotel on Miami Beach’s Ocean Drive. Williams was able to add his personal touch to the menu by including a Ricky’s Picks section which features vegetarian items like margarita pizza, black bean burger, mushroom and vegetable risotto, and rice noodles with tofu.
