After learning of the devastating earthquake in Haiti, Alyssa Milano wrote a  $50,000 check to UNICEF, an organization she supports as a Goodwill Ambassador.

Feeling as though she could help generate more funds, Milano turned to her Twitter account and tweeted, “★TWEET CHALLENGE★ I just donated $50,000 to UNICEF for #Haiti relief. Which corporation will match my donation?”

UNICEF is absorbing all associated administrative costs so that 100% of every dollar given to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF will support the charity’s relief efforts for children in Haiti.

The generous actress has set the bar and is hoping a corporation will meet the challenge.

Recently Milano used Twitter to raise $92,568 for My Charity:Water. She requested that followers and friends celebrate her birthday by donating to the charity.
