London has been named the most vegetarian city in the world. PETA gave London the honors because of the city’s abundant vegetarian restaurants and meatless ethnic cuisine. Additionally vegetarians who visit London will find that grocery stores clearly label vegan options making it easy to choose meat free meals.

Paul McCartney, who has been in the news lately promoting his Meat Free Monday campaign, gave PETA’s decision a thumbs up and hosted a video for the animal rights organization discussing the appalling conditions perpetrated by factory farming.
