PETA's Top Vegetarian Friendly Stadiums

Share |

PETA’s annual ranking of NFL stadiums throughout the country ranked the home of the Raiders number 1 out of 10 Most Vegetarian Friendly Stadiums due to the availability of vegan and vegetarian cuisine. Fans at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum can purchase smoky veggie dogs, beefy veggie burgers, and spicy Tex-Mex vegetarian burritos.

This year PETA was forced to double its vegetarian friendly stadium list due to the increasing number of stadiums that are providing fans with “healthy, humane, and Earth-friendly vegetarian options.”

TOP 10 Most Vegetarian-Friendly Stadiums in the NFL
  1. Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum - Oakland Raiders
  2. Candlestick Park - San Francisco 49ers
  3. Lambeau Field - Green Bay Packers
  4. University of Phoenix Stadium - Arizona Cardinals
  5. M&T Bank Stadium - Baltimore Ravens
  6. Cleveland Browns Stadium - Cleveland Browns
  7. Metrodome - Minnesota Vikings
  8. Georgia Dome - Atlanta Falcons

PETA Director Dan Shannon states, "As the season heats up, the last thing that rabid fans need is a meat-induced heart attack. The best way for anyone to sack potential health problems and hit pay dirt for animals and the environment is to choose vegan every chance they get."

PETA sends all teams on the list a framed certificate and congratulatory letter.
